The Dark Side of the Moon
The title of the album “Dark Side of the Moon” is an allusion to lunacy rather than astronomy. The album is one of the most commercially successful rock albums of all time; a US number 1, it remained on the Billboard chart for more than fourteen years, selling more than 40 million copies worldwide. The Pink Floyd songs "Brain Damage" and "Eclipse" are often mistakenly called "Dark Side of the Moon" because the lyric is repeated in them.
