Killing Me Softly

“Killing Me Softly With His Song” won Grammys in 1974 for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal by Roberta Flack. It was written by Charles Fox and Norman Gimbel, who also wrote the “Happy Days” and “Laverne & Shirley” TV theme songs. The Fugees covered the song in 1996 with Lauryn Hill singing lead vocals.
